Note: Because of my physical limitations, the increasing cost of travel and the need for me to spend more time in Mexico, I plan to start reducing the number of Vacation Bible School programs I do each summer and concentrate more on training others.

In the summer of 2008, my theme will be western and will be called, “The Gloryland Trail” I will be limiting my Vacation Bible Schools to four weeks in June with travel limited to the Northeast Alabama and Northwest Georgia area. I would like to stay within a six or eight hour radius of the Alabama/Georgia state line along Interstate 20, if possible.

My "family style" VBS program is a two-hour platform style program with all ages (5-105) working together in teams in the auditorium. This type of program is especially helpful for churches that are limited in workers or space. The objective of VBS is to have fun while working together to see souls saved and lives surrendered to serve our Saviour. Every song, story, game and lesson has been selected with these objectives in mind.

You provide the children (and adults) and I will provide everything else needed for your 5-day VBS including prizes, nametags, decorations, pens and pencils! We will need at least 2 team leaders (4 if you anticipate a large group) to help with registration and to listen to memory verses, but there will be a job for every adult that wants to help!

I would appreciate the Pastor presenting a short 10-15 minute message each night with the Plan of Salvation and an invitation just before we dismiss. The songs in my program are mostly simple choruses that most of the children will be familiar with or will be able to learn quickly. My music is on a CD made specifically to fit the theme and will contain no rock and roll, rap or hip hop sounds!

The program is a ministry and therefore, there is no charge, so that even the most limited of churches can have a Vacation Bible School!
